Your bushfire recovery

On Wednesday 20 November 2019, a fire in the southern Yorke Peninsula damaged properties, crops and livestock.

A Local Recovery Coordinator was appointed to work with the community to provide support, offer advice and link people to the information and services they require.

Deb Richardson and Kate Martin did excellent work as Local Recovery Coordinator, and Yorketown has progressed well in its recovery. The town has progressed far enough in its recovery journey to transition to community-led recovery. If you were affected by the 2019-20 Bushfires in Yorketown, the SYP Community Hub should be your first port of call.
